Tobias Begemann

Tobias Begemann currently serves as Counsel at Hengeler Mueller since December 2016, focusing on advising companies and financial investors on M&A transactions, corporate matters, and restructurings, particularly in carve-out transactions and co-investments. Previous roles include Senior Associate and Associate in Corporate/M&A at Hengeler Mueller, as well as a Visiting Lawyer position at Slaughter and May. Earlier, Tobias worked as a Research Assistant at P+P Pöllath + Partners, a Junior Lawyer at Cochlear and Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer, and completed a traineeship at the German Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy. Educational qualifications include a Doctor of Law (Dr. iur.) in Corporate Law from the University of Bayreuth.
