Dr. Björn Jackisch has had extensive work experience in various roles and companies. Dr. Björn first worked at Sud-Chemie from 2000 to 2004, where they were a Global Manager responsible for technology scouting, business development, and managing product portfolios. From 2006 to 2015, they worked at Honeywell and held positions such as Global Marketing Manager, Global Business Manager, and eventually became the Global Business Director and General Manager of the SBU Fine Chemicals. During their time at Honeywell, they successfully turned around the business and contributed to the development of the Honeywell Operating System. In 2015, they briefly worked in their own company before joining Henkel the same year. At Henkel, Dr. Jackisch has held two roles: Corp Vice President Adhesive Technologies - SBU Transport & Metal from 2015 to 2018, and currently as Corp Vice President Adhesive Technologies Operations & Supply Chain APAC & Global Digital Operations. In these roles, they have been responsible for managing operations, supply chain, and digital transformation, as well as overseeing business regions and addressing the needs of customers in the automotive, aerospace, and metal industries.

Dr. Björn Jackisch has an extensive education history, including a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from INSEAD in 2005, a Doctor rerum naturalium (PhD) in Biochemistry from the University of Münster from 1997 to 1999, and a Diplom-Chemiker (MSc) in Chemistry from the University of Münster from 1991 to 1996. Additionally, they have obtained certifications as a Lean Six Sigma Expert/Black Belt from the Lean Methods Group, although specific information about the year and month of obtaining the certification is not provided.
