Kai Ethner

Kai Ethner is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in engineering and management. At Henkel since July 2011, Kai has held several key leadership roles, including Director of Application Engineering Packaging Europe and Director of Global Sales & Channel Excellence. Prior to Henkel, Kai served as Managing Director at Sonderhoff Holding GmbH from July 2017 to June 2019, where responsibilities included leading the business and facilitating its integration into Henkel. Earlier career experience at The Timken Company from November 1999 to June 2011 encompassed various roles, including Manager Sales, Marketing & Customer Service Rail Europe and Lean6Sigma Expert. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from RWTH Aachen University, a Master of Science in Industrial Engineering & Management from FernUniversität in Hagen, an Advanced Management Program from IESE Business School, and training in Internet of Things business implications at MIT Sloan Executive Education.
