Markus Hartmann

Markus Hartmann is the Corporate Vice President and Head of Business Technology & Region Europe at Henkel since January 2023. Prior to this role, Markus served at Bayer Business Services from 2006 to December 2022 in various positions, including Head of IT Business Partnering for CropScience, where the development and implementation of a business-driven IT strategy led to revenue increases and operational cost savings. Additional roles included Head of IT Service Integration, Programme Manager for a corporate IT transformation, Merger & Acquisition Programme Manager, and Chief Information Officer, each contributing to enhanced IT service delivery and optimized business processes. Markus holds a degree in Economics & Engineering from University Karlsruhe and completed a thesis on project management systems at Daimler Benz Research Centre.
