Michael Hupe

Michael Hupe serves as the Head of Business Intelligence at Henkel since January 2014, leading global Business Intelligence solutions and Central Data Products across over 50 applications. Hupe oversees a global team of more than 100 full-time employees, delivering insights and high-quality data to thousands of users. Previously, Hupe held pivotal roles including Transition Lead Business Intelligence, Head of BI Finance & Controlling, and Manager IT Controlling, focusing on data governance, financial planning, and reporting. Earlier experience includes managing financial planning and reporting processes at OBI Group Holding GmbH and advisory services at Ernst & Young. Michael Hupe's education includes executive programs at Saïd Business School and Harvard Business School, as well as a Master of Science in Management Information Systems from the University of Münster.
