Xinyu Wei

Xinyu Wei has extensive experience in polymer science and engineering, currently serving as a Scientific Principal at Henkel since July 2014, where responsibilities include the development of new adhesive formulations. Previous roles include Lead Development Chemist and Senior Development Chemist at the same company. Prior to Henkel, Xinyu Wei worked as a Chemist at Cytec, focusing on organic and polymer synthesis for mining applications, and held a Postdoctoral Associate position at UMass Lowell, collaborating with a medical device manufacturer on biostable thermoplastic polyurethanes. Xinyu Wei also gained valuable experience as a Graduate Research Assistant and Teaching Assistant at the University of Massachusetts Amherst, and as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at Peking University. Xinyu Wei holds a PhD and MS in Polymer Science and Engineering from the University of Massachusetts Amherst, as well as a BS in Applied Chemistry from Peking University.
