Yi Liu

Yi Liu is currently the Product Development Head for Automotive OEM, Cleaners & MPT at Henkel, a position held since 2019. With over a decade of experience in material lab research, they have developed expertise in inorganic nanostructures, catalysts, magnetic materials, polymer synthesis, and metal surface treatment. Yi previously served as a Product Development Manager and Senior Chemist at Henkel and has held research roles at several prestigious institutions, including Brown University, where they earned a Ph.D. in Chemistry, and Argonne National Laboratory. Their early academic journey includes a Master’s in Polymer Technology from Eastern Michigan University and a Bachelor’s in Chemistry from Nanjing University.
