Hennessey Architecture is an architecture and design studio founded in the Upper Valley, serving all of New England. Led by Tim Hennessey, the studio offers full architectural design services and Passive House consulting. We create meaningful, intentional, and playful spaces at every scale—from kitchens to additions to high-performance homes, missing middle housing, boutique hospitality spaces, and independent retail storefronts.

New England is a special place to us - home is here. All of our work is driven by our surroundings —the people, places, and environments that shape our communities. We are committed to minimizing our environmental and community impact through site-responsive and high-performance design.

We aim for opportunities to make good architecture through a careful response to each project location and the client’s way of living. We strive to design better places through research and collaboration. We aim to explore more possibilities with you through design iteration and our attention to detail. We create solutions that spark curiosity and enrich everyday life.
