Alan J. Cruz

Alan J. Cruz, PE, is an experienced civil engineer currently serving as a Planning Commissioner for the Charter Township of Canton since January 2023. With a robust background at Hennessey Engineers, Inc. since July 2013 as a Project Manager, Alan has designed and managed multi-million dollar site projects while acting as the primary client liaison for municipalities and overseeing infrastructure initiatives. Prior experience includes managing federal design/build projects across multiple states at HYDRA ENGINEERING & CONSTRUCTION, LLC, and overseeing commercial development projects at Johnson Engineering, Inc. Alan holds a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from Michigan State University.
