Dr. William Noel, Sr. has a diverse work experience in the field of education. Dr. William started their career in 1993 as a Teacher/Coach/Administrator in Caroline County Public Schools in Virginia. In 2004, they moved to Hanover County Public Schools, where they served as an Assistant Principal until 2012. During their time in Hanover County Public Schools, they also worked as the Director of the School Safety & Disciplinary Hearing Office from 2012 to 2014. In 2014, Dr. Noel joined Henrico County Public Schools as the Director of the Student Support & Disciplinary Review Office. Currently, they are working as a National Educational Trainer & Consultant at Dr. Noel Speaks, a position they have held since 2015.
Dr. William Noel, Sr. holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology from the University of Virginia, which they earned from 1987 to 1991. Prior to that, they attended Christopher Newport University from 1985 to 1987, where they studied Sociology. Later, they pursued a Master of Education degree in Administration & Supervision from Virginia Commonwealth University, which they achieved between 2001 and 2004. Finally, from 2011 to 2014, Dr. Noel completed their Doctorate of Education in Educational Leadership and Administration, also at Virginia Commonwealth University.
