Matthew Reinstein has a diverse work experience in education, primarily in Henrico County Public Schools. Matthew started as an Exceptional and General Education Teacher in 2005 and worked in this role until 2016. From 2008 to 2016, they also served as an Administrative Aide. In 2016, they were promoted to Assistant Principal at a high school and held this position until 2017. Since 2017, they have been serving as an Associate Principal at L. Douglas Wilder and Pocahontas Middle School, where they supervise various departments and supports a team of teachers, instructional aides, and custodial and maintenance staff. Additionally, they worked as a Delivery Service Technician at the CTE Resource Center from 2002 to 2004.
Matthew Reinstein earned a Bachelor's degree in History from Virginia Military Institute in 1999. In 2006, they attended the University of Richmond's Teacher Licensure Program to obtain qualifications in Education. In 2014, they pursued a Master's degree in Educational Leadership and Administration, General from Regent University. In June 2022, Matthew obtained a certification in Administration and Supervision K-12 from the Virginia Department of Education.
