Melissa True, MBA has a diverse professional background. Melissa began their career in 2006 with Henry County REMC as the Chief Executive Officer. Melissa then became the Manager of Customer Service and Billing, where they managed the department, balanced daily and monthly cash receipts, and completed month-end balancing reports. Melissa also served as an Accounting Clerk and in the Work Order/Operations Department, where they created, processed, and finalized work orders, closed month-end work orders, and entered time tickets for payroll. In 2005, Melissa was the Executive Director of Big Brothers Big Sisters of Henry County.

Melissa True has a long and varied educational history. Melissa attended New Castle Chrysler High School from 1990 to 1993. Melissa then went on to Ivy Tech University, where they earned an Associate's Degree in Accounting in 2014. After that, they attended Indiana Wesleyan University and earned a Bachelor's Degree in Business Management with HR specialization in 2017. Most recently, they have been attending Purdue University Global, where they are currently working towards a Master of Business Administration.
