Amanda Greenberger

Associate Director, Major Gifts at The Huntington

Amanda Greenberger has extensive work experience in various roles and organizations. Amanda started their career at the University of Chicago in 1995, where they served as an Assistant in the Office of Special Events, participating in planning and supervising events. From 1995 to 2004, they held various roles at Crossroads School. In 2003, Amanda worked as a Teaching Assistant at the Department of Classics, University of California, teaching Latin language and leading discussions.

In 2005, they joined La Canada Presbyterian Church as an Administrative Assistant, overseeing day-to-day operations of the Spiritual Formation Department and coordinating various community outreach programs and educational groups. In 2007, Amanda joined M. Goodwin Associates, Inc. as a Project Associate, where they played a key role in client management and providing operational consulting services to cultural organizations.

In 2011, they joined the Colburn School and held multiple roles over the years. As the Donor Fulfillment Assistant, they provided support in gift processing and acknowledgement. Amanda then served as the Advancement Operations & Communications Coordinator, overseeing operations functions and maintaining donor information. Later, Amanda became the Annual Fund Coordinator, responsible for annual fund campaigns and donor identification and cultivation. As an Advancement Associate, they took on additional responsibilities as a staff liaison for various groups and events, including Taste of Colburn fundraising event, which raised significant revenue. Their final role at Colburn School was Manager of Annual Giving, where they managed direct mail solicitation, tracked department budget and expenses, and served as a liaison for Friends of Colburn and Colburn Dance Council.

In 2015, Amanda Greenberger joined the Huntington Library as the Associate Director, Major Gifts. However, specific details about their responsibilities in that role are not provided.

Amanda Greenberger completed their B.A. in History at the University of Chicago from 1994 to 1998. Amanda then pursued further education in the field of Classics, earning a Post Bacc Cert. at the University of Pennsylvania from 2001 to 2002. Continuing their studies, they obtained an M.A. in Classics at the University of California, Los Angeles from 2002 to 2005.
