The Huntington
Kelly Kress is an accomplished archivist with extensive experience in archival management, processing, and education. Currently serving as a Senior Accessioning Archivist at The Huntington since September 2021, Kelly developed an accessioning program for archival materials and has trained and supervised peers while improving access to collections. Previous roles include Interim Archival Processing Manager, Assistant Archivist at Los Angeles Philharmonic, Processing Archivist at UCLA, and Senior Project Archivist at The Newberry, among others. Kelly holds a Master of Arts in Public History from North Carolina State University and a Bachelor’s degree in English Language and Literature from Penn State University.
