Kim Tulipana has a diverse work experience spanning various organizations and roles. From January 2019 to September 2022, Tulipana worked at The Huntington as the Associate Director of Public, School and Digital Programs. Prior to this, Tulipana served as a Docent Educator at The Huntington from January 2019 to September 2022.
Before joining The Huntington, Tulipana held various positions at the Iris & B. Gerald Cantor Center for Visual Arts at Stanford University, including Manager of Public Programs from January 2018 to September 2018, Manager of Student Engagement from June 2013 to January 2018, and Educational Services Coordinator from May 2009 to May 2013.
Tulipana also worked as a Visitor Center Associate at the Philip Johnson Glass House, National Trust for Historic Preservation in 2007. In 2006, Tulipana served as a Teaching Assistant at Parsons School of Design, and from 2004 to 2006, was a Master's Program Fellow at Cooper-Hewitt, National Design Museum.
Kim Tulipana attended UC Santa Barbara from 1998 to 2002, earning a Bachelor of Arts degree in Film Studies. Following this, from 2004 to 2006, they pursued a Master of Arts degree in History of Decorative Arts and Design at Parsons School of Design - The New School.
