Marina Engen Kohler has a diverse work experience spanning over several organizations. Marina currently serves as the Director of Donor Engagement at The Huntington since August 2018. Prior to this, they were the Director of Events and Visitor Experience at Hammer Museum from December 2016 to April 2018. From July 2011 to November 2016, Marina worked as the Director of Donor Events at the California Academy of Sciences. Marina previously held roles at SFMOMA San Francisco Museum of Modern Art, including Art Auction Manager and Modern Art Council Coordinator. Marina also served as the Program Director at Children of Shelters and as a Special Projects Assistant at Universal Pictures.
Marina Engen Kohler has a BA in Art History from Boston University. Marina also attended the Summer Institute for General Management at Stanford University Graduate School of Business.
