The Huntington
Sean Lahmeyer currently serves as the Conservation and Collections Manager at The Huntington, a role held since March 2020, where responsibilities include programmatic and administrative leadership of ex-situ conservation activities, including management of a tissue culture lab, seed bank, and herbarium. Academic qualifications include a Master’s degree in Biology, specializing in Plant Biology from Cal Poly Pomona (2001-2004), and a Bachelor's degree in General Biology from the University of California, Santa Cruz (1990-1994).
