Shirin Mikiko Sadjadpour

Shirin Mikiko Sadjadpour is a seasoned professional in the fields of art curation and research, currently serving as a Curatorial Assistant at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art (LACMA) since January 2024, with a focus on Japanese Art, Costume & Textiles, and The Rifkind Center. Sadjadpour has held roles such as Graduate Curatorial Fellow at The Rifkind Center, Research Fellow for The Japan Foundation, and Publications Coordinator at The Huntington. With a notable background including positions at the Smart Museum of Art and the Getty Research Institute, Sadjadpour’s expertise spans impactful research and curation projects, supported by a robust academic foundation of a PhD in History and an MA from the University of Chicago, along with an undergraduate degree in History from the University of California, Berkeley.
