Mark Smith

Mark Smith, MD, FACEP, currently serves as the Sr. VP of Medical Affairs and Chief Medical Officer at Henry Ford Health, as well as CEO of the Henry Ford Allegiance Medical Group, a position held since September 2017. Prior to this role, Mark Smith was Vice President of IEP Operations at Henry Ford Allegiance Health from January 2016 to September 2017 and has extensive experience as an Emergency Medicine Physician with Independent Emergency Physicians from July 1999 to September 2017. Mark Smith also held leadership roles at Henry Ford Allegiance Health, serving as Chief of Staff and Vice Chief of Staff between January 2013 and December 2016. Mark Smith's educational background includes a Doctor of Medicine degree from Wayne State University School of Medicine and a Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Sciences from Grand Valley State University.
