Frederiek Toney

Frederiek Toney is president of Ford Customer Service Division and Corporate Officer at Ford Motor Co. Toney joined Ford in 2000 and has experience in managing and building strategy, start-ups, acquisitions, joint ventures, third-party client services, marketing and sales, dealer and customer relations and project management. He also has held leadership roles at Caterpillar and America Honda.

Toney has extensive board experience, including his current role as Chairman of the Board for The National Action Council for Minorities in Engineering (NACME) the largest provider of college scholarships for underrepresented minorities pursuing degrees at schools of engineering. He is also a board member for City Year-Detroit, Developments Centers of Detroit, and Percepta LLC.

He is the recipient of numerous awards, including the 2020 recipient of the Black Engineer of the Year Award (BEYA); 2019 Rainbow Push Coalition “Living Legends”; 2007 World Trade Magazine 50+1 decision makers in global logistics; 2012 and 2017 Black Enterprise list of 100 most powerful executives in Corporate America, among others.

Toney serves on Henry Ford Health’s Finance and Quality and Safety Committees.
