Ali Rosa-Salas

Ali Rosa-Salas is the Director of Performance Programs at Henry Street Settlement. Ali has over ten years of experience working in the dance industry in various roles, including Special Projects Manager at Abrons Arts Center, Guest Curator at BAX | Brooklyn Arts Exchange, and Guest Curator at Danspace Project. In their current role, they oversee all aspects of Henry Street's performance programs, including booking, programming, and marketing.

Ali Rosa-Salas is currently pursuing their Master of Arts at Wesleyan University in the Institute for Curatorial Practice in Performance. Ali received their Bachelor of Arts from Barnard College in Women’s, Gender, and Sexuality Studies with concentrations in Dance and Race/Ethnic Studies. Ali also attended Pontificia Universidad Católica Madre y Maestra, where they studied Dominican and Haitian Theirtory and Bachata Dance. Ali Rosa-Salas has also completed a Pre-Professional Dance Training Program at Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater and holds a High School Diploma from The Packer Collegiate Institute.

Ali Rosa-Salas reports to Craig T. Peterson, VP, Visual and Performing Arts/Director of the Abrons Arts Center. They work with Randy Luna - Director of Education, Jonathan Harper - Managing Director, and Jamie Sterns - Artistic Director.
