Laura Johnston currently serves as a Trainee Post Production Assistant at the Directors Guild of Canada - Ontario since September 2024. In addition, Laura works as a Photographer/Videographer for Marcio Nunes Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. Previous experience includes a role as a Production Manager at Canada's Walk of Fame, as well as a Sales Associate at Henry's, where responsibilities included customer sales inquiries and equipment knowledge. Laura's production experience also encompasses roles as a Production Assistant/Set Decorator with Ya Hoi Yosakoi and a Production Assistant with Ten Ten Quemado. Prior work includes serving as a Union Representative for UFCW Canada and a Grocery Clerk at Loblaw Companies Limited. Laura Johnston holds an Honours Baccalaureate Degree in Film and Television and an Undergraduate Certificate in Creative Problem Solving from Sheridan College.
