Carolin Wimmer

Carolin Wimmer is an experienced professional in product assurance and system engineering, currently serving as a System Engineer for Ground Based Selfprotection and Lead Project Quality Manager at HENSOLDT since March 2023. Previously, Carolin held the position of Senior Product Assurance Manager at OHB System AG from July 2017 to March 2023, focusing on product security for various ESA projects. Prior to that, Carolin worked as the PA/QA Manager for the Euclid mission's opto-mechanics at the Max-Planck-Institut für extraterrestrische Physik from February 2012 to June 2017, with responsibilities including third-party funding, system engineering, supplier management, and testing. Earlier roles included an analyst position at Munich Consulting Group GmbH and a diploma internship at Deutsches Zentrum für Luft-und Raumfahrt e.V., alongside a work-study position at Lufthansa Technik. Carolin Wimmer holds a Diplom-Ingenieur degree in Aerospace Engineering and Numerical Simulation from the Technical University of Munich and is certified as a quality management auditor by TÜV Süd Akademie.
