Christian Knop

Christian Knop is a seasoned HR professional with extensive experience in strategic HR roles, currently serving as VP Head of Senior HR Business Partners / HR International at HENSOLDT since March 2017. In this capacity, Christian manages global HR initiatives for a workforce of over 6,000 employees, overseeing HR Management, Change Management, and Social Partner Management across multiple countries including Germany, France, South Africa, and the UK. Christian has also held the position of VP Senior HR Business Partner Defence + Security at HENSOLDT, focusing on engineering and production sectors. Prior to HENSOLDT, Christian spent 12 years at Airbus Group, where responsibilities included Compensation and Benefits, HR Merger and Acquisitions, and HR Policy. Academic qualifications include a degree in Law from The University of Freiburg and completion of the 2nd German State Law Examination in Baden Württemberg.
