Markus Frehse

Markus Frehse is currently the Head of Sales for Airborne & Space Optronics at HENSOLDT, where responsibilities include building international sales teams and managing diverse Defence & Security technology portfolios. Previous roles include Director of Business Development at G4S Risk Management Group, focusing on service line development and strategy implementation, and Commercial Director at G4S Risk Management, concentrating on business growth and market analysis. Markus also served as Chief Operating Officer for G4S Secure Solutions in Iraq, overseeing operational leadership and P&L ownership, and held the position of Contracts Manager for G4S Secure Solutions in Afghanistan, managing security programs and service delivery. An Army Officer for both the UK Ministry of Defence and the Australian Defence Force, Markus has extensive operational experience in Iraq, Afghanistan, and East Timor. Markus holds a Master's degree in Security and Risk Management from the University of Leicester along with various management qualifications.
