Ruth Lewis is a Senior Medical Writer at Health Economics and Outcomes Research Ltd since September 2019, bringing extensive experience in research and academia. Prior to this role, Ruth served as a Research Fellow at Cardiff University from January 2003 to October 2016, participating in a British Heart Foundation-funded study during the latter part of that tenure. Ruth's career also includes positions as a Research Technician at Bristol University from April 2001 to December 2002, a Teaching Technician at the University of Bath from October 2000 to March 2001, and a Research Scientist at Virginia Commonwealth University School of Medicine from June 1998 to June 1999. Ruth holds a PhD in Cardiovascular/Immunology from Cardiff University, achieved between 2005 and 2010, as well as a Bachelor of Science degree in Applied Biological Sciences from the University of the West of England, obtained in 2000.
