Maura Delaney

Maura Delaney is currently a Development Associate at the Hepatitis B Foundation. Prior to this, they were a Group and Individual Marketing Intern at BlueCross BlueShield of South Carolina from June 2020 to August 2020. During their time there, they adapted to a work from home environment and took initiative with projects and assignments. Maura also reviewed over 100 Work Instructions to ensure tasks were being completed efficiently and provided solutions on how to streamline daily reports.

From November 2019 to November 2020, Maura was the Education Chairman for Kappa Kappa Gamma. In this role, they emphasized the Epsilon Kappa Chapter moral to boost engagement and communicated deadlines, expectations and requirements to select groups of Epsilon Kappa Chapter members. Maura also organized Senior Sisterhood Events to foster community within members last two semesters in the Epsilon Kappa Chapter. Due to the pandemic, they adapted to providing the same information, programming and support virtually.

Prior to their roles at BlueCross BlueShield and Kappa Kappa Gamma, Maura was a Marketing Communications Intern at Penn Medicine from May 2019 to August 2019 and a University Ambassador at the University of South Carolina from October 2018 to May 2021.

Maura Delaney has a Bachelor of Business in Marketing and a Minor in Public Relations from the University of South Carolina, as well as a degree from Florence University of the Arts.
