Yalkın Tutuncuoglu

Yalkın Tutuncuoglu has extensive work experience in various roles and industries. Yalkın began their career as an intern at Siemens, where they gained experience in software development and project engineering. Yalkın then moved on to Whirlpool Corporation, where they interned in product management and played a role in managing a refrigeration project.

After that, Yalkın joined Unilever as a management trainee in supply chain, where they implemented inventory and material management strategies. Yalkın then took on the role of demand planner, responsible for category forecasting and reducing working capital.

Following their time at Unilever, Yalkın worked at SC Johnson as a sales operations lead, leading the channel and route to market strategy for the company. Yalkın also served as a customer marketing category senior associate, overseeing promotional activities.

Yalkın then joined RB, where they held several senior positions, including as a trade marketing category manager and senior key account manager. Yalkın managed key accounts, implemented sales projects, and coordinated in-store activations.

In 2019, Yalkın joined Trendyol Group as the head of grocery for Trendyol GO, overseeing the grocery division. Yalkın also served as a senior category manager for FMCG.

Currently, Yalkın is working at Hepsiburada as a category director, following roles as a group director and vice president.

Yalkın Tutuncuoglu completed a Bachelor of Science in Electronics Engineering at Bilkent University from 2003 to 2008. From 2008 to 2011, they pursued a Master of Science degree in Management and Economics at Politecnico di Milano. Yalkın furthered their education at Marmara University, earning a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Marketing/Marketing Management, General from 2013 to 2018.
