Hazal Gürcan

Hazal Gurcan is currently serving as a 1L Representative for the Osgoode Environmental Law Society since September 2024, after completing a role as an Analyst at Statistics Canada focused on the Digital Economy and Property Data Development and Estimation from February 2022 to August 2024. Prior experiences include positions as a Financial Literacy Student at the Financial Consumer Agency of Canada, Junior Analyst at Innovation, Science and Economic Development Canada, and Junior Data Analyst at Health Canada, among others. Hazal holds a Doctor of Law (JD) from York University - Osgoode Hall Law School and a Bachelor of Social Sciences in Economics with a Minor in Mathematics from the University of Ottawa.
