Tansu Demirel

Tansu Demirel is an experienced cyber security professional currently serving as the Head of Cyber Defense Center at Hepsiburada since November 2025. Prior to this role, Tansu held various positions at Yapı Kredi from February 2017 to November 2025, including Cyber Security Unit Manager and Security Operations Center Manager, where responsibilities included incident response, threat hunting, and digital forensics. Tansu's earlier experience includes serving as an IT Security Engineer at Garanti BBVA Teknoloji, focusing on network security device management, and as an Information Security Engineer at InfoNet Information Technologies, specializing in web security infrastructure. Tansu holds a degree from Yıldız Teknik Üniversitesi and has also studied at Teknillinen korkeakoulu-Tekniska högskolan.
