Soon Lee Yeo

Soon Lee Yeo's work experience includes various roles in different companies. From 2015 to the present, they worked as a Process Engineer at Heptagon, where they were responsible for testing camera lens, optimizing machine performance, debugging machine issues, scheduling, training personnel, creating operating procedures, liaising with suppliers, and performing data analysis. They also traveled overseas to evaluate machines and bought a new machine for the company. During their time at Heptagon, they successfully created VB scripts to automate data analysis and reduce manual work.

Prior to that, from 2014 to 2015, Soon Lee Yeo worked as a Product Engineer at STATSChippac. In this role, they were involved in testing and debugging IC chips, optimizing machine performance, analyzing results, qualifying new setups, and performing yield analysis. They also managed a key customer and successfully qualified 8 machines and related hardware within a short period of time. They were able to convince the customer on qualification criteria and set up maintenance procedures for the production floor.

From 2008 to 2013, Soon Lee Yeo worked at Teradyne (asia) Pte Ltd, initially as a Hardware Project Leader and later as an Application Engineer. As a Project Leader, their responsibilities included working with suppliers and customers to produce reliable PCB loadboards, scheduling, testing and debugging PCB loadboards, liaising with low-cost regions, and cost estimation. They achieved revenue that was 25% higher than the target. As an Application Engineer, Soon Lee Yeo supported customers, resolved programming issues, assisted in customer projects, and acted as a consultant in IC chip testing. They successfully reduced paper wastage and automated the program loading process.

Soon Lee Yeo completed their A level studies at Jurong Junior College from 2001 to 2002. They then pursued a Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Nanyang Technological University Singapore, graduating with 2nd Upper Class Honours in 2008. Seeking further education, Soon Lee Yeo enrolled in the National University of Singapore and obtained a Master of Arts and Social Science in Applied Economics from 2011 to 2013.
