Osam Koike has a strong background in compliance and governance, with experience in various companies. osam currently holds the position of Vice President Group Japan Compliance & Governance at Sosei Heptares since May 2022. Prior to this, from February 2021 to April 2022, they worked as a Compliance Officer at Audi Japan. From September 2019 to January 2021, they served as a Manager of Legal & Governance at Shiseido. Before that, at Sosei Heptares, they held positions as Vice President and Senior Manager of the Group Legal & Compliance Department from January 2019 to August 2019 and July 2018 to January 2019, respectively. In addition, they were a Contract Associate Manager at Accenture Japan from January 2018 to June 2018. From October 2014 to January 2018, they worked as the Manager of Legal Division at Corporate Planning HQ in FUJIFILM Holdings Corporation. osam also has prior experience with FUJIFILM Corporation as a Contracts/litigation Consultant from August 2000 to January 2014 and as an IP Law Consultant from April 2000 to July 2014. Osam Koike has a strong education history, beginning with a Bachelor's degree in Economics from Yokohama National University in 1998. osam then went on to earn a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) degree from Kyoto University between 1998 and 2000, where their field of study focused on Conflict of laws.
Continuing their educational pursuits, Koike attended Cardozo School of Law from 2005 to 2006 to pursue a Master of Laws (LL.M.) degree in Intellectual Property Law.
In recent years, Koike has pursued further education in the field of Corporate Governance. osam attended INSEAD and earned a Certificate of the Aspiring Directors Programme in 2022.
