Tom Wood started working at Sosei Heptares in 2020. Tom began as a Scientist and later transitioned to the role of Research Scientist in January 2023. Prior to working at Sosei Heptares, Tom worked at Hexcel Corporation as a QC Technician from April 2019 to May 2020. In this role, they were responsible for testing raw materials and products, analyzing debris, and maintaining analytical equipment. Before that, they worked at Bill's Restaurants as a Senior Team Member from September 2017 to March 2019. Their responsibilities included serving guests, training new employees, and managing shop stock.
Tom Wood completed their education at the University of York from 2013 to 2017, where they obtained a Master's degree in Chemistry. In addition, they have obtained certifications in various courses, including the Tecan Fluent and Fluentcontrol Intermediate course and the Tecan Fluent and Fluentcontrol advanced course, both from Tecan in May 2023. Tom also received certifications in the Fundamentals of HPLC and HPLC maintenance and upkeep from Crawford Scientific Ltd in October 2019.
