hEr VOLUTION
Azka Siddiqui is a dedicated Program Coordinator at hEr VOLUTION, where Azka also serves as a Board Member and Vice Chair of the STEMing UP Committee. As a member of the Dufferin-Peel Catholic District School Board's Student Equity Council, Azka advocates for secondary students, promoting equity and inclusion initiatives. Azka has contributed to mental health literacy as a Mental Health and Well-Being Champion and has engaged in machine learning research at the University of Toronto, focusing on smart-grid anomaly detection. Additional experience includes software engineering internships at Nokia and The Fregenet Foundation, event coordination at the National Zakat Foundation Canada, and research at McMaster SynBio and ATHENA By Women In STEM. Azka is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Applied Science in Computer Engineering at the University of Waterloo, building a foundation for a career that blends technology and community advocacy.
