Sebastian Orth

Sebastian Orth has a diverse work experience spanning several industries and roles. Sebastian started their career at Deutsche Bank, where they completed their professional education in banking and also worked as an intern in the Global Banking division. Sebastian then joined The Linde Group as an intern in the IFRS Competence Center. Later, Sebastian worked at Deloitte Deutschland as an Audit Senior. In 2011, they took up a role at Mainova AG as Manager of Group Accounting and Internal Reporting for a brief period. Sebastian also had a stint as a Visiting Lecturer at Dongbei University of Finance and Economics in China. Sebastian then joined Heraeus, where they held various positions, starting as a Manager for Financing and Treasury Advisory and later became the Head of Risk Controlling and Treasury Reporting. Their role at Heraeus progressed to the position of Global Head of Corporate Treasury and Accounting, where they were responsible for external financing structures, bank and rating agency relationships, FX and cash management, as well as customer credit risk management.

Sebastian Orth completed their undergraduate education at Johannes Gutenberg University Mainz from 2002 to 2007, earning a degree of Diplom-Kaufmann in Betriebswirtschaft.
