Scott Underwood

Scott Underwood is an experienced journalist with a career spanning over three decades. Currently serving as the Editor at The Herald Bulletin since 2007, Scott supervises the newsroom and guides the approach to news, sports, and features in both digital and print formats. Prior to this role, Scott held editorial positions at The Star Press, first as an Editor and previously as an Associate Editor, contributing to content development for various platforms. Scott began a career in journalism as a freelance writer for Indianapolis Monthly, producing profiles and articles on real crime, and held positions as Sports Editor at The Herald Bulletin and as a police beat reporter at The Middletown Journal. Academic credentials include a Master's Degree in European History from Ball State University and a Bachelor's Degree in Communications from Anderson University, alongside an honors diploma from Manchester High School.
