Helen Hopkin has extensive work experience in workforce planning and strategy. Helen currently holds the position of Director of Global Workforce Planning Strategy & Implementation at Herbert Smith Freehills since May 2022. Prior to this, they worked at PwC for a significant period of time. At PwC, they served as the Head of Workforce Strategy from September 2017 to May 2022, where they were responsible for setting and delivering workforce strategy, managing workforce planning and sourcing, and overseeing recruitment and global mobility. Helen also held the position of Head of UK Resource Management from July 2011 to September 2017, leading a large team of resourcing professionals and providing solutions to complex workforce planning issues. Before their roles in resource management, Helen served as the UK Operations Director for Tax from January 2000 to July 2011 and as a Senior Business Manager - Midlands Tax from October 1998 to January 2000.

Helen Hopkin began their education at Mickleover Secondary School, where they completed their high school education in 1981. Following this, from 1981 to 1983, they attended Wilmorton College of FE for an unspecified degree and field of study. Later, in 1996, Helen pursued a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree specializing in Business at the University of Derby, which they completed in 1997.
