Jane Evans

Jane Evans has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Their most recent position is as the Director of Business Development, Asia at Herbert Smith Freehills, starting in 2023. Prior to this, they worked at Brunswick Group as the Director of Business Development, where they established structure and processes for business development and client engagement in a regional role. At Lewis Sanders Legal Recruitment, they served as a Director, focusing on strategic management, marketing, and business development. Jane also held positions at Walkers, where they were the Innovation Strategy Director and Head of Business Development, Asia & Middle East, overseeing strategy development, relationship management, and project execution. Jane has also worked at Jones Day as a Regional Business Development Manager, Asia, providing coordination and support for business development initiatives across multiple offices. Earlier in their career, they worked at Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer, Cadwalader, Wickersham & Taft LLP, and Dentons in various marketing and business development roles.

Jane Evans attended Cardiff University / Prifysgol Caerdydd from 1990 to 1994, where they earned a Bachelor of Science in Economic and Social Studies (BSCEcon). Their field of study during this time was French & European Community Studies. In 1992, they also studied at Lycee Fenelon in Paris for a year as part of their degree program, focusing on French.
