Frans Papp

Frans Papp has a diverse work experience in various industries. Frans recently joined GroenLeven in 2022 as a Project Manager. Prior to that, from 2020 to 2022, they worked at the Port of Harlingen as a Havenmeester/Harbour Master/Port Security Officer. Before that, from 2019 to 2020, they were a Contract Manager at Damen Shipyards Group. Frans also served as a Senior Project Manager for SeaXplorer Engineering at Damen Shipyards Group in 2018.

Frans Papp attended NHL Hogeschool from 1986 to 1990 and obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Maritiem Officier. In 1993, they pursued further studies at NHL Hogeschool and completed a Post HBO degree in Toegepaste economie (Applied economics) in 1994.

In 2007, Frans Papp enrolled at ISBW Opleiding & Training, where they obtained a Post HBO degree in Senior project management.

Frans Papp also holds several additional certifications. In 2014, they acquired the Security Awareness certification from Nova College. In 2011, they obtained the Duurzame Zee, Duurzame Zeevaart certification from the Ministerie van Infrastructuur en Waterstaat. Additionally, in 2010, they completed a series of certifications from TU Delft, including Matching Propulsion Engine and Propulsor, Diesel Engines and Gas Turbines Characteristics, Electrical Drives Characteristics, Marine Propulsors Characteristics, and Propulsion Plant Concepts and Basic Ship Hydrodynamics. Prior to that, in 2009, they obtained certifications in Marine Pollution Control Oil Spill Response and Marine Pollution Control Chemical Spill Response from Maritiem Instituut Willem Barentsz. Frans Papp also completed a Crew Resource Management certification from the Naval Aviation Schools Command in 2009. In 2008, they obtained the Ecdis Course certification from Maritiem Instituut Willem Barentsz. Most recently, in 2019, they acquired the VCA-vol certification from VCAVCA.
