Wilco Koops

Wilco Koops has a diverse work experience spanning different industries and roles. Wilco started their career as a Coordinator Events at Sportcentrum Kardinge, where they managed events and collaborated with local authorities and organizers. Wilco then worked as a Camp Counselor at Julian Krinsky Camps & Programs. Moving to the corporate sector, they joined Philips Consumer Lifestyle B.V. as an Application Research Engineer, where they conducted research and analysis for new electronic developments. Wilco later transitioned to Sharp Packaging Solutions, part of UDG Healthcare, holding multiple roles including Project Manager, Bid & Contract Manager, and eventually Head of Customer Service & Project Management Team. In these roles, they managed teams, led projects, and dealt with bids, contracts, and customer service. After that, they joined NIVO groep as a Tender Manager, responsible for managing complex European tenders. Currently, they work at GroenLeven as a Tender Manager, focusing on project development and the acceleration of the energy transition.

Wilco Koops has a Bachelor's Degree in Leisure Management from Stenden University, which they obtained from 2001 to 2005. Wilco also holds a Project Management certification called Prince2 Certificate, which they obtained in 2011. In 2013, they completed EU cGMP Training at The Compliance Group. Additionally, in 2013, they participated in the UDG Healthcare plc Leadership Development Programme. In 2016, they attended the INSPIRE leadership course. In 2018, they completed a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt program at 5St3ps. Wilco also took a European Tendering (foundation & continuation course) at VdLC publishers/ consultants B.V. in the same year. Moreover, they have obtained various certifications in areas such as marketing, talent sourcing, agile project management, key account management, scrum, six sigma, goal achievement, time management, and Microsoft Project 2016 essential training, all from LinkedIn.
