Marco Levarato has extensive experience as a software engineer, specializing in .NET development. Marco started their career in 2009 at Arcadia Consulting as a software engineer. From 2010 to 2012, they worked as a full-stack software engineer, designing and developing multiple web applications. In 2012, they joined TheHouseOfMouse, where they architecturally designed and implemented a custom CMS.
In 2014, Levarato worked for I.T. Euro Consulting as a software engineer, providing consulting services to improve the software infrastructure for logistics at Fercam. Marco used C# and F# with .NET Framework and worked with DB2(AS/400) and SQL Server databases.
From 2011 to 2015, Levarato founded and worked as a software engineer for Mai più noia - The Event Finder project, which involved crawling local events on Facebook using a bot and storing them in MongoDB. Marco developed a Facebook application, a website, and an iOS application.
Marco then joined Pioneer Investments in 2015 as a software engineer, where they implemented software to normalize sales data and analyze customer ratings in the KYC context using C#.
Levarato joined deltatre in 2016 as a software engineer, focusing on the development of the back-end of the DIVA Player, using C#, PowerShell, Bash, Arm, MongoDB, Elastic Search, Azure Search, Azure Web Applications, Azure Web Jobs, and CosmosDb. Marco also migrated the system from on-premises architecture to an Azure cloud architecture.
In 2019, Levarato worked for Deloitte Digital as a software engineer, specializing in .NET development. Marco refactored and restructured a software built by Deloitte for Elior Group S.A., focusing on improving performance and availability.
Levarato also worked for Exprivia in 2019 as a software engineer, where they designed and implemented a new workflow engine using the BPMN 2.0 standard. The engine aimed to replace the current workflow engine used by Exprivia's client in the banking sector.
Currently, Levarato is the CTO and Co-founder of Hercle, a role they started in September 2019.
Marco Levarato graduated from Università degli Studi di Padova in 2010 with a laurea degree in Information Technology. In 2015, they also attended Università Ca' Foscari Venezia, although the degree name and field of study for this period are not specified.
