Meghdad Saediamiri

Meghdad Saediamiri, Ph.D., P.Eng., is a skilled Product Designer at HERD North America since March 2018. Prior to this role, Meghdad served briefly as a Pipe Fitter at MasTec Canada in February 2018 and was a Sessional Instructor for Mechanical Laboratory at the University of Manitoba from January to May 2017. As a researcher at the Energy Combustion Laboratory from September 2010 to December 2016, Meghdad contributed to industrial projects aimed at implementing renewable fuels in industrial burners and gas turbines, utilizing CAD software such as SOLIDWORKS, Inventor, and AutoCAD for detailed mechanical designs. Meghdad began a career in engineering with a co-op position at SOTHHR co. in 2004, focusing on HVAC system design. Academic qualifications include a PhD in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Manitoba (2015), an MSc from Sharif University of Technology (2009), and a BSc from Ferdowsi University of Mashhad (2006).
