Wilita Sanguma

Wilita Sanguma is an experienced leader with a robust background in nonprofit management and education. As the Executive Director and Founder of The Lobiko Initiative since October 2020, Wilita drives community change by partnering with local leaders. In addition, Wilita serves as Vice Chairman of the Board for Here For Kids International, which fosters global friendships through student teams in various Latin American countries. Previously, Wilita held significant positions at Summit Public Schools as Director of Development and at Girls Leading Girls, Inc. as a board member, focusing on leadership development for young women. Other roles include a board member at CongoVoice and multiple positions at the University of San Francisco, including Assistant Director for Justice and Outreach. Wilita's academic credentials include a Master's degree in International Studies from the University of San Francisco and a Bachelor's degree in Political Science from California State University, Fresno.
