Austin Ellis has over 13 years of work experience in the software engineering field. Austin began their career in 2007 as a Senior Creative Developer at AKQA, where they built web experiences for Nike, Xbox, Target, and Method Soaps using HTML, CSS, and ActionScript. In 2009, they became a Flash Instructor at Miami Ad School and a Software Engineer at enVie Interactive, where they used C++, Python, and ActionScript to build a virtual world targeting 25 to 45 year-old women. In 2012, they co-founded Bossmonster and in 2013 they became a Backend Engineer at Mighty Spring. From 2014 to 2017, they were a Senior Software Engineer at Mastermind Studios, Inc., where they were responsible for client and server side feature implementation using continuous integration and unit testing, Swift, SpriteKit, Unity 3D, NGUI, C#, Django, python, Visual Studio, and Mono. In 2019, they became a Lead Software Engineer at Epic Games and in 2021 they became an Advisor at LoopGolf. Currently, they are an Engineer at Here Not There Labs.

Austin Ellis attended the University of Florida from 2000 to 2004 where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Digital Arts and Sciences.
