Iain McNicol

Iain McNicol is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in spatial data analytics and engineering, currently serving as the Director at HERE Technologies since December 2011. McNicol leads a team of GIS Data Engineers and Operations experts, focusing on enhancing data management processes and optimizing production activities to improve efficiency in operational execution. Previous roles at HERE Technologies include Head of Business Operations Planning EMEAR and Map Maintenance Planning Manager EMEA, where strategic planning and operational governance were key responsibilities. Prior to HERE Technologies, McNicol worked at Navteq as Operations Project Manager EMEA and Team Leader Scotland, where skills in team management and project execution were developed. McNicol holds an MSc in Geographic Information Systems from The University of Edinburgh and a MA in Geography from the University of Dundee.
