Justin Pilot

Justin Pilot is a Ph.D. experimental particle physicist currently working as a Principal Data Scientist at HERE Technologies, where they contribute to the Highly Automated Driving team. With over 10 years of experience analyzing data from large particle colliders at CERN and Fermilab, Justin has developed innovative machine learning algorithms and excelled in statistical hypothesis testing. They served as a Postdoctoral Researcher at the University of California, Davis, managing analysis efforts and presenting findings at major conferences. Previously, Justin was an Associate Project Scientist I after completing their graduate studies at The Ohio State University, where they contributed to the search for the Higgs boson.
