Here to Serve, Inc.
Here to Serve identifies and mobilizes people, charities, businesses and organizations to carry each other’s burdens during times of crisis, insuring guidance and assistance does not have to be sought after, but is offered freely by people and organizations that collaborate to compassionately respond to those navigating cancer. We seek to demystify the plethora of service organizations and to make them easily accessible, thereby easing the journey of those in medical crisis. Here to Serve provides assistance to families caring for a child or a child’s parent battling cancer. We: Mobilize people and resources to meet the daily living requirements of families who do not qualify for government assistance. Build online communities of support called Care Communities, that provide a network of services and financial assistance for families caring for their child or spouse battling cancer. Provide hard-to-find resources at the start and throughout treatment as needs arise. Here to Serve is a health and human services organization providing non-medical support services to patients and their caregivers who are navigating cancer. We are a 501 (c) (3) charity that collaborates and cooperates with the community including individuals, businesses, and other nonprofit organizations to reduce the suffering and emotional stress of individuals, families and caregivers during cancer treatment. Here to Serve combines the services of other charities, corporations, and professional service organizations and mobilizes a network of friends, neighbors and loved ones to provide targeted non-medical assistance to families battling cancer. We identify resources to help with insurance and legal issues, financial, emotional and mental health support, and navigate other NPO services, as well as provide assistance with child care, meals, household chores, transportation, pet care, and general logistics.
