Mariam Naficy

Mariam Naficy is the founder and managing partner of Heretic Ventures, a San Francisco-based venture studio focused on launching businesses in the creator economy. Mariam also holds various positions on the Board of Directors of companies such as Victoria's Secret, Medium, Yelp, and Polyvore. With a background in e-commerce, Mariam previously served as Vice-President and General Manager at The Body Shop, where Mariam launched the company's first e-commerce business. Mariam is also the founder of Minted.com, a leading creative goods marketplace. Mariam has a BA in Political Economy from Williams College and an MBA from Stanford University Graduate School of Business.
