John Bettag has a diverse work experience in the event management industry. John started their career at Experient Inc. in 1990 and worked their way up from a Meeting & Event Manager to a Senior Account Executive and VP of Sales. John then joined Explore St. Louis in 2007 as the Director of Corporate Event Sales, where they successfully attracted large citywide events to St. Louis, including the FIRST Robotics event. In 2012, they became the Vice President of Sales at Explore St. Louis, overseeing sales efforts for the St. Louis Convention & Visitors Commission. Most recently, they served as the Senior Vice President of Business Development at Heritage - Nationwide Exposition Services, where they led new business development efforts and guided marketing strategy across four warehouse/office locations.
John Bettag obtained a Bachelor's degree in Hotel, Motel, and Restaurant Management from the University of Missouri-Columbia. The specific start and end years for their education are not provided.
