Baha Baniya

Baha Baniya is a seasoned Senior Software Engineer and Tech Lead at Heritage Bank, with experience since September 2012 in delivering significant projects, including the Broker loan MVP as part of the Red Hat Innovation Lab and migrating legacy systems to modern architecture. Prior positions include J2EE Lead Developer at Finaccess Pvt. Ltd., where Baha developed the Cell O® mobile financial services solution, and Senior Software Engineer at Verisk Health Inc., focusing on in-house software development. Earlier roles involved web-based application development at F1Soft International Pvt. Ltd. Baha holds a Master of Computing Technology in Information Technology from the University of Southern Queensland and a Bachelor in Computer Engineering from Khwopa Engineering College. Technical expertise includes Universe Basic, Unix, C#.NET, Java, along with various frameworks and tools such as Apache Camel and OpenShift/Kubernetes.
